wake up call

wow its been a while since i did one of these, today at tafe i got a big shock when i had my anatonomy class. Up until now tafe has been fun the work hasn't been that hard probably bcoz i knew most of the stuff, but today was a real kick in the pants bcoz our teacher really got stuck into use about doing the work properly bcoz we have a quiz next week and the amount of stuff we need to remember is alot just for a quiz which would probably last 10-15 minutes.

If someone said that tafe was a bludge and you don't have to work hard to get a pass i would slap them in the face bcoz they were dead wrong. The course that im doing is going to be the hardest thing i have done at school and its gonna take alot of work to be able to stay up there and get the job done.

Already some of the people in my class are getting worried that the work is getting to hard for them and they can't handle and that will suck bcoz we only just started the course and friendships are just starting so it would be bad to see them leave.

first day

WOW first day of TAFE it was exciting getting up really early and heading into where i will be going for the next 2 years hopefully. It was good getting back into working and not just sitting around on my butt watching tv all day it was getting boring doing the same thing everyday.

My first class was biological principles so it was all on stuff which i did last year in biology so stuff i already knew great start something i don't need to work on. This is always the boring stuff though having to know all the organelles and what cells do and all that stuff that you probably think have absolutely nothing to do with massage therapy, but it has to be done.

my last class was practical we didn't get to start on any massage stuff yet but we were taught the most important things for massasge therapy: how to wash your hands properly, how to put up the table without hurting yourself and how to stand when giving a massage to someone, very important.

Well thats all i have to say about that......

fun day

Today i had to go into TAFE and get everything ready for next week when i start my course, met some new people and some people that i already knew which was good. I'm really excited aboout starting this course because its something that i know i will enjoy and something that i can use for the rest of my life.

The worst part about this course is its probably one of the most costly courses because you have to buy all the equipment so you can use it. We have to buy a number of different textbooks and they said that we will need our own bed so we can practice at home, so if anyone has any problems i can fix them and that can maybe help pay off the bed. (don't worry i'll be gentle)

BB starts tonight shou;d be fun getting back into that, with houghdy gone it has left a huge gap so everyone else has to step up and take a bit of the load which i think im ready to do whatever that includes. Should be a fun year, got some new boys coming up so hopefully they stick around and our group can grow even bigger.
