Back to school
Today was my first day back at meadowbank Tafe, which is good because i was getting very bored at home doing nothing except watching tv and studying for an exam that i have this thursday. It was great to catch up with everyone in my class and finding out what they did during the break and what crazy things they did over the long weekend.
It was also a huge wake up call, before the 2 week break we had exams for every subject and we got the results back from 1 subject today and about 5 people in my class failed so that means that they have to go back and do that part of the course again which would suck. So it has made me think alot about not slacking off in my classes because everything will count when it comes to the end where you get your marks and i need to work really hard so that i don't fail any subjects.
But if you wanted to know i was really happy with my result, i got 74% for my practical exam which was soomething that i was afraid of because i knew i made a few mistakes in the exam and i didn't know how bad they were going to affect the result but i will take 74%.
Tonight was my first training session back from injurying my neck/shoulder because i pinched a nerve in my neck 2 weeks ago, it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be i knew that there would be some pain but there wasn't that much. I decided that i would wear my funny arm brace which is very annoying to help support my shoulder which seemed to help, it sucks you have one strap that wraps around your leg and another strap around your bicep and you have a strap that goes across my body that stops my shoulder from hyperextending.
We needed a hard session after what happened on the weekend our defence was shocking we just didn't have any intensity but hopefully what we did at training tonight we might start working together and win some games.
Tomorrow i have to go see the chiropractor and get some more work done on the neck/shoulder which will help relieve some pain hopefully so i can start playing again and help out the team instead of sitting on the side line watching which sucks so much.
